There are many B & B's to choose from around Lake Como starting from approximately €30 per night. This can be a good option as there is no need be back at a certain time for dinner etc and leaves you to make up your own mind where you would like to eat. It can also be less expensive than staying in a hotel and there is usually a friendlier atmosphere in a B & B.
