There is no need to hire a car as the hotel is within easy reach of public transport (bus-stop, taxi rank and water taxi situated along lakeside promenade). However if you are travelling by car there is metered parking along the lakeside. It is also possible to drive your car into the pedestrian zone in the piazza for a short period of time only in order to unload/load luggage.
