TexSara is a relatively new bar/trattoria that opened in April 2007. It is situated in the village of Menaggio on the western branch of Lake Como along Via Lusardi (opposite primary school scuola elementare). You can pop in for your morning coffee or even have lunch/evening meal. The owners are friendly, the service is great and the food is excellent. If you want somewhere away from the busy piazza in the summer months, then why not take a stroll up to TexSara (only 2 mins walk from piazza).
It is popular with the locals at lunchtime so you might just have to treat yourself to an aperitivo whilst you wait!

This lovely little lakeside cafe is situated in the popular village of Tremezzo (western branch of Lake Como). The interior of the cafe is bright and spacious and exudes a homely 'old style' pub feel to it with the many interesting memorabilia on the walls.
