Tex is a relatively new trattoria that opened in April 2007. It is situated in the village of Menaggio on the western branch of Lake Como along Via Lusardi (opposite primary school scuola elementare). You can pop in for your morning coffee or even have lunch or evening meal. The owners are friendly, the service is great and the food is excellent. If you want somewhere away from the busy piazza in the summer months, then why not take a stroll up to Tex (only 2 mins walk from piazza).

It is popular with the locals at lunchtime so you might just have to treat yourself to an aperitivo whilst you wait!

Typical Menu (evening meals)

Primi Piatti (€6-€10) - tagliolini with scallops, rice with perch fish, spaghetti with tomato and fresh basil, gnocchi with cheese and bresaola

Secondi Piatti/Meat (€13-€17) - steak fillet with green pepper, steak fillet with porcini mushrooms, beef tagliata with rosemary
