Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

Argegno is a lovely little village on the west side of the lake and is situated on the Regina road at the start of Val d’Intelvi with the river Telo flowing through it. It is approximately 20km from Como. This small village is popular with tourists and is always very busy in the summer months.  There are some interesting sights such as the Santa Anna Church which dates back to the 18th century.  The interior of this church houses some original frescoes and furniture.  Another church worth visiting is the Chiesa della Trinità.   There is also a cable car from Argegno here that takes you up to Pigra (approx 800m) with amazing panormic views across the lake.  You can also take a walking tour of Val d'Intelvi if you are feeling fit.
