Domaso is situated on the northwest part of the lake. There are steep narrow streets that lead up from the lakeside towards the mountains. One of the most important buildings is Villa Camilla built in the 18th-century which now houses the townhall. This town is a popular resort with watersports enthusiasts due to the constant breeze la breva. Pianello del Lario (south of Gravedona) is the location of the most important sailing club on the lake.
