Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

Lenno is situated on the westside of the lake and lies in a bay. You can find the lido at the southern end of the bay with a lovely restaurant and a sandy beach, there is normally an admission fee. However there is a free pebble beach a little further along.

In the summer season the lido has music and dancing in the evenings (free entry at this time) until the wee small hours, finishing around 4am although the drinks are quite expensive, €10 per drink regardless of what you are drinking! It is well worth taking a wander up in the hills of Lenno as there are some wonderful things to see such as the church of San Andrea, and higher up you will find the Monastery of San Bernadetto.
