Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

The beautiful mountain village of Vercana is approximately 56 kilometres from the town of Como and sits above the village of Domaso on the western branch of Lake Como.  Vercana comprises different hamlets dotted along the river Livo on the slopes of Pizzo Sasso Canale.  It was originally an old fishing village and to date this is still a prominent business in the nearby harbour of Domaso.  

The footpath from Vercana leads you down into the town of Domaso which is approximately 2km away with numerous restaurants en route.  The panoramic view from Vercana is exceptional, overlooking the lake and also the Pian di Spagna as well as the alps to the north and Monte Legnone to the east.

Vercana is excellent for nature walks and also for mountain biking.
