| New Speed Cameras for Oliveto |

The increasing number of drivers disregarding the speed limit in Oliveto (Lecco province) are not only endangering themselves but also others. Therefore the Mayor of Oliveto, Claudio Rivolta, has made the decision for speed cameras to be installed along this section of road as well as having policemen who will patrol this area on a regular basis. Anyone found to be going over the speed limit will be stopped and most probably fined on the spot. This will hopefully crack down on the 'race-car' style driving that is popular along the lakeside road in the summer months. |
