The Bishop of Como ordained five young seminarians as Deacons on Saturday 12th September 2009.
This event took place in the beautiful cathedral in Como. The “Duomo di Como” is located close to the lake and is one of thee landmarks in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. This gorgeous church with its enchanting interiors and rich ornamentations was built in 1396. Relatives and friends congregated at the Duomo to celebrate in a solemn mass with Samuele Bongiolatti, Francesco Franzini, Lorenzo Mottola, Nicholas Negrini and Fabio Rossi in taking this step towards priesthood.
