Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

Earlier this week local police officers from Menaggio were concerned about a large amount of blood found on the steps down to by the lakeside in Tremezzo.

The police feared that an aggressive incident had taken place. It has since been revealed that a fisherman, resident of Cadorago had accidentally cut his leg on a container and lost some blood.

The man travelled home by car and his wife immediately called 118 due to the severity of the cut on her husbands leg. He was then taken to hospital in Cantu where he is currently recovering from surgery. His condition is not serious. For the police officers the case is now closed.
