According to the police evaluation the injury was a result of a hunting accident. The man along with two friends had been on a hunting trip in the Alps of LBlessagno when the tragic accident took place; a slippery descent caused the man to fall and lose control over his gun with a grazing shot to his abdomen. The doctors of Gravedona hospital performed surgery on the injured man but sadly this was unsuccessful. The man died later that afternoon. |
