Two thieves broke into a bar in Consiglio di Rumo, Lake Como between Thursday and Friday last week and attempted to get away with two video games machines and money changing machines. Luckily the local carabinieri from Menaggio who were driving towards Gravedona at the time, heard the alarm sounding and managed to intercept the robbery. The two thieves escaped on foot running through nearby fields. The police have recovered the stolen goods found in the boot of the cars; both of which had been stolen from Lecco at the beginning of December and will be returned to their legitimate owners. |
