After a recent council meeting it was agreed that something must be done to alleviate the traffic problems in Mengaggio. Therefore school buses will be able to stop once again in Piazza Garibaldi as well as the erection of a further two new stops. |
Traffic jams in Menaggio were a huge problem at the tail end of last year due to the bus stop in Piazza Garibaldi being closed. The new bus stop location across from the pharmacy caused complete chaos as the school buses would stop here each morning causing nose-to-tail traffic queues which reached beyond the petrol station in Menaggio.
