Train station closed for restoration |
 The Ferrovie Nord train station at Portichetto-Luisago in the Milan province has been closed over the winter period for restoration due damage caused by the cold temperatures that are affecting most of Europe. The station has been closed since mid November and is not known exactly when it will re-open. Train travellers from this area have been boarding the train near the docks instead and are having to purchase their ticket directly from the train conductor. This situation is not ideal but until the station re-opens there does not seem to be any alternative.
