Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

The Regina road running through San Siro, Italy was closed for two hours on 9th January due to a head-on collision with two cars; a Ford Fiesta and an Audi A3.

The tragic accident took place around 4pm with one of the cars ending up on the guard rail. Five people in total were involved in the accident all of whom sustained injuries except for a 7 year old child travelling in one of the cars who remained unharmed. Fortunately none of the injuries were life threatening. Local emergency services were called and arrived immediately on the scene to assist; Red Cross Menaggio, Lariosocorso di Dongo and the fire brigade.
