The Italian Trust “Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano” (abbreviated FAI) welcomes spring with numerous open days.

The FAI have organised spring open days starting from 18th Marchto raise awareness for its charitable activites. FAI´s aim is to help preserve Italian art as well as the architectural and cultural heritage of Italy. The “Giornata FAI di Primavera” takes place on the weekend of 27^th and 28^th March all over Italy.

Visitors to Lake Como can choose from a variety of events being held one of which is an open day at Villa Balbianello in Lenno.  This beautiful villa, famous for its beauty and prominent position was used several times in blockbuster movies and attracts countless tourists from all over the world.
