Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

A devastating fire broke out in Via Duzioni, Cantù  Asnago around 21:30 on Monday evening and brought the boat company Fp Boats - Blue Ice to its knees as well as damaging the roof of a neighbouring company Nordtubi occupying part of the same shed (seperated by a concrete wall).

The urgent assistance of the National Fire Departments was required and there were over a dozen fireman at he scene which took around two hours for them to contain.  It has been said that the fire was caused by a  short-cicruit and all that remains now is to sort out the damages. There were four boats plus equipment and material for building more of the same boats destroyed in the fire.  All that remains now is sift through the damage.
