Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Como announced that the amount of 400 thousand euros will be assigned to the families that will be hit from the economic crisis in the coming weeks. An exceptional measure taken without precedence, the Mayor has verified that the amount will be budgeted for in the general economy accounting records.

As of today the committee has begun discussions with regard to the budget which will end next Wednesday. The extraordinary 'anti-crisis' package is the result of some important decision making but with no increase on rates or communal tax.  The exact sums of money to be given to each family is yet to be finalized in the next few weeks.
