The intense restoration activities lasted almost 9 years and cost in the region of €777 thousand euro. Not only has the interior been restored but also the novelty of a planned route has been created that takes the visitor on a journey through the museum to discover the life and times of this scientist. An interactive route will be installed as well as the new audioguide so that the visitor can "sail" in the world of' electricity. |

The Tempio Voltiano building which houses a museum dedicated to Alessandro Volta - inventor of the electric battery, finally opened its doors to the public yesterday morning with its newly restored interior.
