Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

A group of parents are extrememly alarmed by the infestation of rodents in the Nursery School on Via Volta, Como.

The rodents are attracted by the containers of rubbish located near the courtyard, unfortunately there are not enough traps to capture all of them and the town council at the moment does not have the funds or the resources to deal with this problem.

The rodents often appear in the late afternoon towards evening and although they have existed alongside man for many years, the fact that they carry disease and the possibility of coming into contact with humans is a worry.  The local council will hopefully in the next couple of weeks devise a program to deal with this problem which will be compatible with the children still attending the school, although it might be that the council returns to the usage of decoys and traps.
