01_View_of_lake_from_Ossuccio_1The mayor of Ossucio, Massimo Castelli and the president of the Isola Comacina Foundation have signed an agreement in connection with the Academy of Brera, Gabriel Mazzotta, which will now be managed directly by the local council.

This tour of the Isola Comacina will work in parallel with some of the other sights of Lake Como such as; villas Balbianello, Carlotta, Melzi and Monastero which will enable tourists to purchase an all inclusive prepaid ticket (which may also include the ferry crossing) giving them the opportunity to visit these popular tourists attractions throughout the day.

From the moment the millionaire investment is put in place the face of the island will be changed for multiple reasons; historical, artistic and tourism. With the conclusion of the works tourists will therefore be required to pay to visit the archaeological sites of the ‘’Pompei of the Lario.’
