Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

Smoking
Smoking

Italy became the third country in Europe (January 2005, after Ireland and Norway) to ban smoking in indoor public places. This includes bars and restaurants (unless they have a designated separate smoking area).  There can be fines of up to €2000 for bar and restaurant owners who do not enforce the ban.

If you are a smoker please be aware that you can only purchase cigarettes from a Tabbachi (like a newsagents) you cannot buy them from the local supermarkets.  Better still don't smoke as it is extremely bad for your health (and breath) and save the money for a holiday on Lake Como!
