Lake Como, Italy has all the ingredients to make for the perfect holiday.

When you take your children to the parks in Italy, you will notice that whole families attend. From mums and dads to the grannies and granddads. It is a time for families to socialise and enjoy watching the children play.  Most of the villages have some kind of play park for children, with slides, swings etc and a grass area to run around in.

Griante/Cadennabia has two playparks - one of which is situated near the bar/hairdressers near the centre of the village which has swings, slide, climbing frame and grass area to run around in. There is another park which is larger called Parco Villa Maria, with goalposts, swings and a slide. This particular park is used a lot in the summer for the village festivals often with food, singing and dancing.

Mandello del Lario (approx 10km north of Como) has an excellent play park for children at the lido.

Menaggio, has a playpark just behind the 'Municipio' (townhall) which has quite a lot of things for the children to play on; round-about, swings, slide, climbing frame, see-saw and an area for the children to runaround in or play football, volleyball etc.
