Monastero S.Benedetto

This Monastery is located in Ossuccio (Val Perlana) and is approximately 817 metres above sea level and was built in the 11th century. The local people still have very close ties to this church.  It is only in recent years that both church and Monastery have been restored.

It is a 2 hour hike to reach this Monastery so be sure to take plenty of water with you and some snacks.
