 Small shops and supermarkets are normally open from:Monday – Saturday 8:30am -12.30pm and then 15:30 – 19:30 (although some shops close at 1pm on a Saturday). Large hypermarkets/shopping centres are normally open from 9:00 am to 21:00 Please note that these opening times vary from region to region. During the high season opening times are subject to change. Many shops close for the month of August, many shops close as this is the time when the Italian people usually take their holidays In main cities/towns many shops open all day, and on Sundays. |
