The Lake Como area has excellent transports links and is serviced by three major airports; Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio and two main rail networks; Trenitalia line -(Italian State Railways) which uses the Como San Giovanni station which is on the international Milan-Chiasso line and Ferrovie Nord Milano line - which has several stations.

Lake Como Railway Stations

The above train stations are all located in the town of Como; San Giovanni and Lago Nord are the two most commonly used by visitors and tourists to Lake Como.  There are also another two railway stations in Como; Como Nord Camerlata and Como Nord Borghi as well as a number of smaller train stations situated on the eastside of the lake; Lecco, Varenna, Colico.
