Page 1 of 2 To Como by Car The drive from Bergamo Orio Al Serio airport to the town of Como is quite straightforward with the only real problem being traffic flow depending on what time of day you arrive. You can get directions easily from the internet from various sites, two of which are Google Maps and the RAC website. To save you the time of looking we have put two of the most popular routes by car below. Directions to Como Centre
1) A4 Route (approx 95km) 2) SS36 (Approx (87km)
However, if you are heading for the western branch of the lake and do not want to go through the centre of Como, take the Como Nord exit this will bring you out past MacDonalds and Bennet (large shopping centre) along Via Asiago (SS340) where you will arrive at a roundabout. Here you will see signs for Cernobbio (which is a more scenic route down by the lakeside - narrow roads) or take the exit for Menaggio (up over the small bridge) which will take you to your destination; Argegno, Ossuccio, Tremezzo, Cadenabbia etc. * Please note if you are hiring a car you must take the shuttle bus from outside the Arrivals entrance to an off-site compound to collect your car. |
