Smurfs 'run amok' in Griante |

It was a fantastic day for the Griante Carnevale on Saturday 21st February. Many of the children from the village dressed in various costumes as well as some of the adults.
Everyone congregated in the carpark beside the gymnasium awaiting I Puffi (the Smurfs) to arrive. When the Smurfs arrived (along with their 'float') the parade through the village began. Some of the children rode on the 'float' along with the smurfs and the rest followed behind. The Smurfs were up to lots of mischief, throwing sweets and streamers into the crowd and spraying foam onto unsuspecting bystanders. Finally the parade returned to the gymnasium where free dinks and snacks were on offer. A great time was had by all. |
