In reality to acquire these ingredients today in Lake Como costs considerably more than last year. Fruit and veg is becoming more of a luxury. Price increases have been recorded, in particular the following: a kilo of fennel cost €1,39 in 2008 and now costs €2,13, chicory has jumped in price from €2,23 to €3,10. |
