Break-in at Lido di Menaggio |

The Lido di Menaggio was broken into one night last week, with thousands of euros being stolen from the safe. The owners are devastated as the refurbished lido only re-opened one year ago and a lot of time, money and effort was ploughed into this project for both locals and tourists to enjoy. It is thought that the thieves were acquainted with the lido and knew exactly where to locate the safe. As a result of this, steps are being taken to ensure that this does not happen again with a new alarm system being put in place.
