Como is famous for silk, so why not treat yourself to a silk painting course, which would be a great souvenir to have and all done by your own hand! Anyone can learn to paint on silk whether it be a nice silk scarf or a wall-hanging to take home with you (or to give as a present to someone special) it is up to you to decide.
Lina Moosooliah has been teaching silk painting, textile arts and batik for many years; free-hand, resist, thickner, Batik, Shibori, Nuno-felting and Burn out creations at every level. Each year Lina attends art and craft exhibitions as well as teaching courses in Rome, Milan, Florence and Como. A basic course consists of 3 x 2 hour lessons and costs €120 (includes materials and tools).
